Keynote Speaker Jim Shuler

Topic: "Redistricting - a Reality Check in Virginia"

Jim served on Blacksburg Town Council from '82-'88 and in '93 became our 12th District representative to the House of Delegates, serving until 2012. In 2001 the pitfalls of redistricting became a reality. Delegate Shuler worked diligently against partisan odds for over a decade until retiring from public service in 2012.
